How to Apply for Funding

We welcome applications from small, local charities and initiatives seeking financial support for projects aligned with our mission. To apply for funding, please follow these steps:

  1. Eligibility Check: Ensure your organisation is a registered charity or recognised local initiative with a clear focus on one or more of our key areas: poverty alleviation, climate change, stopping discrimination, ending war, preventing corruption, improving animal welfare, or helping young lives.

  2. Application Form: Request an application form by emailing foundation@itisnotyour.com. Provide detailed information about your project, including objectives, expected outcomes, budget, and timeline.

  3. Supporting Documents: Attach the necessary supporting documents, such as proof of registration, recent financial statements, and any other relevant materials that demonstrate your organisation’s impact and need for funding.

  4. Review Process: Our review committee will evaluate all applications based on criteria such as project feasibility, alignment with our mission, potential impact, and financial need. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for further information or an interview.

  5. Notification of Results: Successful applicants will be notified via email within 60 days of the submission deadline. Funds will be disbursed according to the agreed-upon schedule and project requirements.

Terms and Conditions

  • Funding Amount: The amount of funding awarded will be determined based on the project’s needs and available resources. Grants typically range from 1,000 to 10,000 GBP/EUR/USD.

  • Use of Funds: Funds must be used exclusively for the approved project. Any changes to the project scope or budget must be communicated and approved in advance.

  • Reporting Requirements: Recipients are required to submit regular progress reports and a final report detailing the outcomes and impact of the funded project. Failure to comply may affect future funding opportunities.

  • Publicity and Acknowledgement: Recipients agree to acknowledge IT IS NOT YOUR... FOUNDATION’s support in any publicity or materials related to the funded project.
